FAQ about

SMS OTP

+

1. Where do you receive the OTP code?

In general, the OTP code is automatically sent by SMS, but it can also be delivered by email, depending on your preferences. It is received within seconds of the request. If you do not receive it, you can request a new code.

+

2. What is the point of an OTP code?

SMS OTPs ensure the security of authentication processes. They are dynamic passwords, meaning hackers cannot predict or memorize them. Since OTP codes are only valid for a limited time, this leaves hackers far too little time to steal credentials.

3. Why did I receive an OTP code without requesting one?

An unsolicited OTP code may result from a technical bug on the website, a suspicious login attempt, or a third party entering your details by mistake. In any case, do not click on any associated links and do not share the code. Check your accounts for any suspicious activity. If you believe you are the target of a hacking attempt, change your passwords. Above all, do not hesitate to report it to the relevant customer support team.
